Good (G) The lowest grade given to a collectable copy.
The book has been used and abused, but is still whole.
Very Good (VG) The most common grade given to a collectable copy.
The book is no longer "fresh".
It has been handled and shows some signs of wear.
Flaws are noted.
Fine (F) A copy without visible flaws.
The book has had excellent and loving care.
Any minor blemishes in the book or dust wrapper are noted.
